Monterey County offers quite a few excellent parks for the outdoor fun lovers. People who are in the mood to take it easy and relish nature can choose between a number of respected parks in the area. These include Jacks Peak Park, Toro Park and Forest Hills Park. Jacks Peak Park is great for hiking. Toro Park and Forest Hills Park are excellent picnicking and barbecuing destinations respectively.
