If you're looking for an evening of ghostly fun, Point Sur Lightstation Halloween Tour is your best choice. The tour begins with a walking tour to the lighthouse in time to watch the sunset, then on to the Barn where a light buffet will be served. Later, Pt. Sur's professional actor/storyteller, Kevin Hanstick, will recount stories of Pt. Sur's ghostly past. One of their "paranormal investigators," will share the results of her ghost hunts. If you dare, explore inside one of Pt. Sur's real haunted houses, the un-restored Triplex. Dessert and hot drinks will be served in the Visitor Center.

The City of Seaside's Pattullo Swim Center will be holding its Annual Pumpkin Plunge! This event includes free recreational swimming and activities! Plunge for a pumpkin and decorate it using provided supplies!

Wrangle the kids up and bring them to Northridge Mall Party in the Pumpkin Patch near Starbucks for some not-so-scary Halloween fun. Start with decorating real pumpkins that you can take home! Then, MallStars will compete in a scarecrow decorating contest, and enjoy snacks and plenty of giveaways. Start your trick-or-treating between 5-7 pm at participating mall stores.

Saturday, October 26

The Pebble Beach Zombie Race and Emergency Preparedness Fair will take place in picturesque Pebble Beach on the Fire Defense Roads, from 9am-12pm. There are two running courses planned, the challenging 5K Zombie Crawl (think 3.1 miles of steep hills) and the 2K Survivor Stroll (a flat mile that is perfect for strollers and youngsters).

Start your haunted evening off right with special Halloween Dinner at the Monterey Bay Aquarium. Your dinner ticket includes admission to the Halloween Dance Party, a three-course dinner and a non-alcoholic beverage. The dinner is limited to Aquarium members; seating is limited. Advance reservations are required.

Ghosts and goblins of all ages are also invited to Pacific Grove's Trick or Treat. This free family event include activities, candy, giveaways, music and special offers at participating businesses.

In addition, the Pacific Grove Museum of Natural History will be hosting its FREE Science Saturday: Bats, Spiders & Snakes from 10am-3pm.

Lighthouse District's Trick or Treat welcome little goblins with special treats on Halloween. Dress up and come on down to Lighthouse Avenue for an afternoon full of fun and trick-or-treating. 2-5pm.

Last, but not least come and join us at Carmel-by-the-Sea Birthday from 11am-2pm. The City of Carmel-by-the-Sea was incorporated on Halloween in 1916, so it celebrates its birthday and the country’s favorite costume-and-candy holiday with a Halloween Parade through downtown. This is not to be missed event!

Sunday, October 27

If you're looking for a Pumpkin Carving & Pinot experience, go to Sovino Wine Bar for Halloween fun! Pumpkins, carving tools, stencils, aprons and of course a glass of wine will be provided!

Celebrate a howling good time this Halloween at Estéban Restaurant's Costumes and Cocktails from 4:30pm to 10pm. Festivities are on the restaurant's lively patio, where a roaring fire-pit will light the night as pets indulge in Executive Chef Gus Trejo's Tasty Treats menu and humans savor Estéban's seasonal dinner menu and sip Spooky Beverages. Costumes are encouraged for pets and their people or just pets.
