The Excitement of 2024 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am

The AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am Golf Tournament is one of the most prestigious events on the PGA Tour calendar, and it's set to return to the Monterey Peninsula in 2024 from January 31 to February 4.

If you're a fan of PGA Golf, you can't miss out. This tournament attracts some of the biggest names in golf, as well as celebrities from the entertainment and business worlds.

2024 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am golf tournament will take place at three prestigious local golf courses: Monterey Peninsula Country Club Shore Course, Spyglass Hill Golf Course and Pebble Beach Golf Links.

If you're planning on attending the tournament, there are a few things you should know to make the most of your experience.

Tickets

Get ready golfers! Tickets for the 2024 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am are now on sale! Kids 15 and under get free general admission with a ticketed adult and all children ages 2 and up need a ticket for Palmer's Club 18 and Clint's Saloon.

Daily tickets are available for tournament rounds from Thursday to Sunday. Wednesday practice rounds take place only at Pebble Beach Golf Links (Spyglass Hill and MPCC are closed off to spectators). Wednesday tickets include access to view events like the 3M Celebrity Challenge, Chevron Challenge, Cisco Million Dollar Hole-in-One for Charity.

Parking

Pebble Beach doesn't offer on-site parking for the golf tournament or for any of its practice rounds. Visitors can access parking at these locations:

California State University, Monterey Bay (CSUMB)
located near the corner of 2nd & 5th Street in Marina. Free shuttles are available to take you from CSUMB to Pebble Beach and vice-versa. For directions, click here!

Carmel-by-the-Sea
located at two parking lots. Paid shuttles are available to take you from Carmel to Pebble Beach and vice-versa.

AT&T Tournament Shuttles

Spectators who are planning on visiting AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am don't have to worry about their transportation needs for a second. If you're going to be traveling through Marina or Carmel-by-the-Sea, there are convenient shuttle options available to you. The shuttles run frequently and are a convenient way to get around, but keep in mind that there may be long lines and wait times during peak hours.

 

Carmel Shuttles to Pebble Beach

Where: Buses leave from the front of Carmel Plaza on Ocean Avenue and go to a drop-off point near the Pebble Beach Golf Course.

Shuttle Schedule: Shuttles run every 15-30 minutes.

Wednesday, 9 am to 5:30 pm

Thursday - Sunday 6:30 am to 5:30 pm

Cost: $30 1-day pass or $100 for a 5-day pass.

Pacific Grove Shuttles to Pebble Beach

Where: Buses leave Pacific Grove Museum of Natural History located at 165 Forest Avenue in Pacific Grove and go to a drop-off point near the Pebble Beach Golf Course.

Shuttle Schedule: Shuttles run every 30 minutes.

Wednesday 8 am to 3:30 pm

Thursday - Saturday 6:30 am to 5:30 pm

Sunday 6:30 am to 4:30 pm

Cost: $25 1-day pass or $75 for a 5-day pass.

What to Wear

For the 2024 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am, it's best to dress comfortably and wear layers so you can adjust as the day progresses.

Cameras and Bags

Spectators may take pictures with cameras only on practice days: Monday–Wednesday. Cameras are not allowed on the course during tournament rounds: Thursday–Sunday. Spectators may use mobile phone cameras as long as it is silent and the flash is turned off. No large bags or backpacks are allowed, and all items are subject to search. Collapsible chairs without chair bags are acceptable for entry.

Best Viewing Spots

The 18th hole area is a popular spot to watch the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am. This iconic hole offers stunning views of the Pacific Ocean and is a great place to see the tournament's top players in action. Alternatively, you can catch the action from the borders of holes 6 and 8, the tee box on the 13th hole, and the grandstand by the 17th green. No matter where you decide to watch from, make sure to give yourself plenty of time before play begins so that you don’t miss any action!

Lodging in the Area

AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am visitors shouldn't have any trouble securing accommodations in the area. Many local hotels are available for your comfort time and lodging. For extra VIP treatment, guests can have the luxury of incredible tournament views at one of Pebble Beach's rooms. Monterey County has a wealth of gorgeous and luxurious boutique hotels, budget-friendly inns and bed and breakfasts.

Exciting Activities

You don't necessarily have to be a golf fan to make the most out of AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am week. That's because Monterey County has a lot to offer beyond just golfing excitement.

If you want to enjoy yourself away from the golfing scene, you can visit one of the area's many high-quality shopping centers, including Carmel Plaza, Del Monte Shopping Center, and The Crossroads Carmel. It doesn't matter if you're interested in high-end boutiques, more casual stores or anything else. You can shop 'til you drop while your other half takes in the thrills of the golf competition.

If you don't feel like shopping, you can head to one of the local wineries and sip some of the finest local wines. Monterey County is a world-famous wine hub and known for its amazing wine tastings.
