The Excitement of U.S. Open Championship at Pebble Beach

U.S. Open Championship return to renowned Pebble Beach Golf Links, on June 10-16, for sixth time in the national championship's history. 

U.S. Open Pre-Championship Merchandise Sale

USGA Merchandise tent will be open to the general public before the U.S. Open on June 6 and 7 at 10 am to 4 pm and on June 8 and 9 from 11 am to 7 pm.

Pebble Beach will be giving away raffle prizes including golf at Pebble Beach and merchandise to the lucky ones at its Fan Central, located at Peter Hay Golf Course.

Tickets are on sale, although limited quantity is available, and can be purchased at USGA's Official Website.

Transportation During U.S. Open Championship

Spectators who are planning on visiting U.S. Open Championship at Pebble Beach don't have to worry about their transportation needs for a second. If you're going to be traveling from nearby Carmel-by-the-Sea or Pacific Grove, there's a convenient shuttle option available to you. There are also shuttles available to visitors who are starting from other nearby locations in Monterey.

If you want to get to U.S. Open Championship at Pebble Beach without having to think about frustrating traffic and transportation hassles, shuttle service may be the best option for you. Make sure to learn about your parking options in advance as well. Pebble Beach doesn't offer on-site parking for the golf tournament or for any of its practice rounds. Visitors, however, can access parking by driving to California State University in Monterey Bay.

Bicycles will not be allowed on 17-Mile-Drive or within the Del Monte Forest as a safety precaution due to the heavy volume of cars and shuttles

U.S. Open Championship Shuttles Schedule

All shuttles run continuously about every 20-30 minutes minutes, so please do not wait for the last bus unless you're planning to hike back to your hotel or car!

Monday thru Wednesday 8 am to 5:30 pm
Thursday and Friday from 7 am to 8 pm
Saturday and Sunday from 8 am to 8 pm

Carmel Shuttles

Where: Buses leave from the front of Carmel Plaza in front of Kate Spade on Ocean Avenue and go to a drop-off point near the Pebble Beach Golf Course.

Cost: $25 1-day pass or $100 for a 7-day pass.

Pacific Grove Shuttles

Where: Buses leaves Pacific Grove Museum of Natural History on Central Avenue in Pacific Grove and go to a drop-off point near the Pebble Beach Golf Course.

Cost: $20 1-day pass or $60 for a 7-day pass.

Cameras and Bags

Spectators may take pictures with cameras only on practice days: Monday–Wednesday. Cameras are not allowed on course during tournament rounds: Thursday–Sunday. Spectators may use mobile phone camera as long as its silent and flash turned off. No large bags or backpacks are allowed and all items are subject to search.

Best Viewing Spots

The 18th hole area is a popular spot to watch the Pebble Beach U.S. Open. Alternatively, you can catch the action from the borders of holes 6 and 8, the tee box on the 13th hole, and the grandstand by the 17th green.

Lodging in the Area

U.S. Open Championship at Pebble Beach visitors shouldn't have any trouble securing accommodations in the area. Many local hotels are available for your comfort time and lodging. For extra VIP treatment, guests can have the luxury of incredible tournament views at one of Pebble Beach's rooms. Monterey County has a wealth of gorgeous and luxurious boutique hotels, budget-friendly inns and bed and breakfasts.

If you want to enjoy yourself away from the golfing scene, you can visit one of the area's many high-quality shopping centers including Carmel Plaza, Del Monte Shopping Center and The Crossroads Carmel. It doesn't matter if you're interested in high-end boutiques, more casual stores or anything else. You can shop 'til you drop while your other half takes in the thrills of the golf competition.

If you don't feel like shopping, you can head to one of the local wineries and sip some of the finest local wines. Monterey County is a world-famous wine hub and known for its amazing wine tastings.
