Downtown Monterey Tree Lighting Celebration

Monterey's traditional Community Christmas Tree Lighting Celebration 2024 takes place on Friday on the lawn in front of historic Colton Hall from 5 to 6 pm, featuring carols, candles, cookies, cider, music by Mike Marotta Family & Friends, and good cheer.

This FREE event is sponsored by the City of Monterey, First Night Monterey, and the Old Monterey Business Association.
