4th of July Living History Day

Monterey State Historic Park is celebrating our country’s independence with a special Living History Day on July 4, 11am-3pm in the Memory Garden behind the Pacific House Museum at Custom House Plaza. After the City Parade, bring the whole family for some historic fun!

Demonstrations include blacksmithing, rope making, leather stamping, 19th-century games, military drill and historic music and dancing.

The event is free, but a $5 donation per family is suggested.

All proceeds support the State Park Title 1 School Year Program Scholarships.
