Monterey 4th of July Celebration

Monterey's 4th of July Parade 2024 is not to be missed and starts at 10am at the corner of Alvarado and Pearl streets. Come and join us to enjoy the festive floats, patriotic displays, entertaining costumes, and musical bands.

Parade Route

The parade will start at the corner of Alvarado Street and Pearl Street. It will go down Alvarado Street and turn left onto Del Monte Ave and then take an immediate left onto Calle Principal. It will continue on Calle Principal until Jefferson Street, and end there.

The City of Monterey’s free “Big Little Backyard Bar-B-Que and Entertainment Extravaganza” then follows at 11am until 5pm at Colton Hall Lawn at Pacific St.

• 11am to 12:30pm: Shane Dwight
• 12:30pm to 2pm: Pure Ecstasy
• 2pm to 3:30pm: Money Band
• 3:30pm to 5pm: Pop Fiction

A variety of delicious food options will be available to purchase or you can bring a picnic lunch.

Note: This is an alcohol-free event. Dogs are prohibited except for guide and service dogs.
